2. DISPATCHING TRAIN - Part 2
Step 1 : With Handle at TCF position PB1 and PB2 pressed. Simultaneously to send TGT code a
code of signal to Station A (AT STN B)
Step 2: PBPR picks up(AT STN B)
Step 3: Positive on Line 1 and Negative on Line 2
Step 4: Galvo deflects , NR picks up and bell sounds.(At STN A)
Step 5: With PBPR up, power is connected to transmitter as shown below.(AT STN B)
Step 6: The modulated frequency F2 (65 Hz) is selected as loop between F2 and C is completed through handle 'R' contact and 2R back contact in the transmitter.(AT STN B)
Step 7: With NR up and F2 is received at receiver input.(At STN A)
Step 8 : FM code F2 on line , with DC.
Step 9: On getting the bell and Galvo deflection at STN B, SM turns the block handle up to X position, further turning is not possible as the handle is in locked position.(AT STN A)
Step 10: Feed to receiver through handle BX contact , SM key IN, 1R up, PBPR and TOLR down is extended as shown below.(AT STN A)
Step 10: CR2 picks up at STN A on receipt of F2 by the receiver.(AT STN A)
Step 11: With NR, CR2 and 1TPR up, handle at XX' contact , TRSR picks up , which is the Line clear receiving relay.(AT STN A)
Step 12: Lock Magnet picks up with TRSR , CR2 and NR up to release the block handle.(AT STN A)
Step 13: Block Handle turned to check lock position at X' and then to Train Going To Position(continuous co operation is required to pass check lock position).(AT STN A)
Step 14: Galvo needle flicks at both stations as line current reduces due to current flow through R3 during the circuit controller contact (XY-RD-LB) of the handle opening between X and B points.
(AT STN A)
Step 15: Galvo flicks . Knowing block handle has been turned from the Galvo needle flick, PB1 and PB2 at station are released.(AT STN B)
Step 16: TRSR up and with Block handle contact 'LA' proving that the handle is in L position Advance starter controlling relay ASR picks up. ASR up LSS can be taken OFF.
